| Overview |
|
| Retro body style |
|
| The Cadillac DTS continues unchanged for 2007. In tune with Cadillac’s nouveau ‘art and science’ school of thought (read techno-art) the 2007 Cadillac DTS has a fashion-forward body with a retro soul.
Adorned with a host of high-end gadgetry and luxury features this front-wheel-drive sedan is a consummate all American car and carves a middle ground between form and function. Accounting for a greater percentage of Cadillac’s sales, the DeVille has a worthy successor in the 2007 Cadillac DTS.
The DTS which is the DeVille rechristened was given significant upgrades for 2007. Changes include a new front and rear sheet metal and fascia, spanking new interior, updated chassis components, and a refurbished structure.
The DTS is available in just one model with various optional packages. The Luxury I Standard offers an optional Sun and Sound Package with a power-tilt sunroof with index-sliding, express-open features, and interior shade, an in-dash 6-disc CD changer, and a programmable 3-channel Universal Home Remote.
For 2007, the Cadillac DTS features three new exterior colors, Mystic Gray, Gold Mist, and Cognac Frost. New interior colors include Cocoa with Cashmere and Cocoa with shale accents.
It competes with Buick Park Avenue, BMW 7-Series, Lincoln Town Car, Lexus LS 430, Jaguar XJ Series, and Mercedes-Benz S-Class. It has a basic warranty of 42 months or 43,600 miles.

| Walk-around |
|
| Signature Cadillac exterior design |
|
| Cadillac’s crest and wreath logo hold pride of place at the center of its chrome grille. ‘Useable technology’ is the underlying theme here, as Team Cadillac flirts with some ‘haute couture engineering wizardry’ and delivers a line of aerodynamic cars that partner style with functionality.
A re-contoured stiffened-body structure and a laminated steel dash dampen noise from the engine compartment.
The DTS with its star spangled pair of Xenon headlamps, chrome trims on the sides, and sculpted fluidity of linear shapes and angles, throughout its restyled structure rendering a polished gleaming aura, add to its spectacular silhouette and give it an intrinsically European appeal.
Standard amenities on the Luxury I Standard comprises of a laminated front and rear side glass, a grille with a satin nickel finish, bi-functional xenon HID headlamps, illuminated entry, LED tail-lamps, outside rearview, dual-power heated mirrors, P235/55SR17 Blackwall continental all-season tires, and 17-inch aluminum machined finish wheels.
